Careers: Service Desk Agent, Global Support & Service Desk

VFM Leonardo helps hoteliers enhance their online listings by displaying their visual content, primarily photos, virtual tours and videos, in an easy viewing format on thousands of websites that travel shoppers use to research and book hotels.
 
As a Service Desk Agent your role will be troubleshooting issues related to our proprietary web based applications via the our ticketing system and telephone.

  • Eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Positive and energetic.
  • Very Strong in written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Exceptionally detail oriented and has a tenacious nature to follow complex muti-layered incidents through to resolution.
  • Open minded and logical thinker with top notch problem solving skills.
  • A highly motivated self starter comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • A team player with excellent time and energy management skills.
  • Experience with SQL querying relational databases such as MySQL.

 
Nice to have skills:
 

  • Proficiency in Zendesk, Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com.
  • Fluency in French, Italian, or Spanish may also be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of IT service management process such as ITIL.
  • Interest in the hotel and travel industry.
  • Exposure to or knowledge of a variety of web application technologies such as Flash, web browsers, networks etc.
  • Some exposure to software development.

 

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training, coaching and ongoing support.
